Apply for this role

About the role

Forecasting is the core of what ForezynPlan does. As our ML Engineer you'll own the models that predict revenue, burn, and cash flow for our customers. You'll work closely with our data infrastructure and product teams to ship models that are accurate, explainable, and fast enough for interactive use.

What you'll do

  • Research, develop, and productionise time-series forecasting models
  • Build and maintain ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and serving
  • Collaborate with product to translate forecasting requirements into model design
  • Monitor model performance in production and iterate on accuracy over time
  • Document methodology clearly so customers and teammates can understand model behaviour

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of ML engineering experience, ideally with time-series or financial data
  • Strong Python skills and experience with forecasting libraries (Prophet, statsmodels, etc.)
  • Experience taking models from prototype to production with proper monitoring
  • Solid statistical foundations — you can explain confidence intervals to a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with ML infrastructure (feature stores, model registries, experiment tracking)

Nice to have

  • Background in finance, economics, or quantitative analysis
  • Experience with deep learning approaches to time-series (e.g. NHiTS, TFT)
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or similar data pipeline tools
  • Published research or open-source contributions in forecasting
